The Cracked Peppercorn in The Coast Hotel is open and ready to provide you with not just a great meal but an unforgettable dining experience. Nevin Berning, our Executive Chef and Owner/Operator has recently moved to Medicine Hat with his young family to fulfill his dream of operating his own restaurant, providing fresh, delicious dishes and offering warm, welcoming service to his guests. Nevin's specialty is Steak (Bison and Beef) complimented with sauces of his own creative flavor combinations: the Merlot Candied with Black Pepper sauce and Portabello Mushroom and Bacon Ragout are two of his most popular choices.
   
At The Cracked Peppercorn the steaks are cut from Certified Angus Beef when you order it, to any size you wish. Then they are cooked to perfection, served with fresh seasonal vegetables and your choice of one of eight sides and one of eight unique sauces. Along with steaks, there is a wide selection of pastas, sandwiches and some of the best burgers you'll ever have! Whether it’s an amazing steak, a rare high end single malt Scotch or just a comforting bowl of freshly made soup, The Cracked Peppercorn is the spot for it. Open from 11am - 10pm, 7 days a week.
